Inherently versatile and uniquely suited for all occasions, Ali Golden is the embodiment of the modern urban uniform. The designer’s eponymous collection has always been about the process of actually making clothes. Trained in graphic design and fine arts, Ali’s first garments were constructed and sewn in her spare time, as a hobby. But in 2011, she discovered that what she loved doing for fun could actually be a career and the rest is history. Everything is designed in Oakland, California with production spanning California, a woman-owned co-op in Peru, and a fair-trade certified factory in India. With growth, Ali insists on maintaining the highest possible standards of ethics and sustainability.
